School counselors are advocates for students. Counselors are first and foremost here to support student academic and learning development, helping students achieve school success. Second, life and career development, which helps students focus on future life and career goals. Counselors work to provide an awareness of multicultural and global citizenship to allow students to see opportunity in the ever evolving global communities. Finally, the school counselor provides social and emotional support allowing students to develop resiliency and strength as they work towards their future. Your school counselor is in the school to support you!
A Note From The Counselors:
Ben Lomond School counselors would like to provide all students with needed support as we continue to navigate through this challenging time together as a community. Please be aware that the counseling center along with the rest of Ben Lomond will continue to work towards keeping our community safe and healthy. We would like our students and families to know in order to do so we have moved many of our services to be available as contact-less services. All schedule changes will be through contact-less forms that can be found under Schedule Changes on our website.
Appointments: Students, parents, and families must set up an appointment to meet with their counselor. Below you will find three different ways for appointments to be set up with your counselor. We ask all in person appointments be attended by the student and only one parent/guardian. Students, parents, and guardians may also request an appointment through Google Meets Video Conferencing or conference calling.
Ben Lomond Counselors are also aware that response services need to be available for our students and families to meet all emergency needs. If there is a need for a student or family to meet with a counselor immediately we will have one counselor available to do so. Please contact Ms. Andrea in the counseling center via telephone and she will direct you.
We hope to continue to meet all the needs of our students and families. If you have any questions or concerns please call or email your counselor. We are happy to help!
