Fourteen of our students attended the State FBLA Leadership conference at the Davis Conference Center on March 8 and 9. Only one student had competed at the state level, so it was good experience for all of them.

Although we did not have anyone place for nationals, all of our students worked very hard to prepare for their events. They prepared speeches, took computerized tests after school, production tests after school, created graphic designs and studied for 26 different events such as computer problem solving, insurance and risk management, health care administration, marketing, business calculations, cyber security, etc., etc.

They were required to dress professionally at the conference and learned a lot about how the business world works.

Students who competed were: Ruth Jackson, Alysa Jenkins, Madi Jenkins, Mannee Lopez-Rodriguez, Natalia Madrigal, Francisco Marengo, Steven Nguyen, Vladimir Robles, Israel Velasquez, Kaden Ficklin, Giovanni Frias, Sofia Pacheco Gutierrez, Yesica Hernandez, and David Higashiyama.
